John is a ninth-generation farmer from Fuquay-Varina and the owner of Iron Horse Farms, specializing in horse boarding, beef cattle, and hay. He is an Army veteran who served two tours in Iraq and currently serves as President of the Wake County Farm Bureau Federation. John accepted Christ as his Savior as a teenager and has been an active member of FBC since 2005, contributing to youth outreach, men’s ministry, and community engagement. He oversees the church’s finances and leads the Safety and Security Team. John and his wife Rachael, a lifelong FBC member, have been married since 2010 and are proud parents of two sons.
